In the Department of Poultry Science, our students have access to the rich resources of a nationally respected faculty (consisting of approximately 30 faculty members in various fields of study) and state-of-the-art teaching, research and extension facilities. Scholarships & Financial Aid

Poultry science majors typically receive between $125-$150K in scholarships from the Department and The Poultry Federation, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per student, per year, thanks to the support our department receives from the poultry and allied industries, the Poultry Federation, and donors.

Poultry Science Youth Conference

The 20th Annual Poultry Science Youth Conference will be held July 12-15, 2016 at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR. The youth conference is a four-day, three-night conference designed to broaden the high school student’s understanding of the educational disciplines, scholarship opportunities, careers and industries related to poultry science.

6th Annual Symposium: Current Issues and Advances in Food Animal Wellbeing

The 6th Annual Symposium will be held August 4, 2016 and will include presentations on issues with swine, egg production, and consumer trust. 

Poultry Science Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Poultry Science Scholarship Golf Tournament will held Tuesday, August 30 at the Springdale Country Club.
