Scholarships & Financial Aid
Poultry science majors typically receive between $125K and $150K in scholarships awarded from the Poultry Science Department and The Poultry Federation. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 per student, per year. All of this would not be possible without the tremendous support our department receives from the poultry industry, allied industry, the Poultry Federation, and generous donors.
The Center of Excellence for Poultry Science includes the poultry science department, 5 scientists from USDA-ARS and associated faculty from several departments on the Fayetteville campus and from other campuses within the State of Arkansas. The objective of the CEPS is to develop the knowledge and intellectual capacity to meet the specific needs of poultry production/processing/marketing firms to help them remain competitive in a global economy. The CEPS shall meet the needs of society regarding issues such as food safety and security, human nutrition, animal health and well-being, and environmental stewardship.
