Small Farms Program

The University of Arkansas, Poultry Science Department in Fayetteville, is a team member of university, government and non-profit groups focused on military veterans interested in agriculture. This program offers opportunities for farmers such as on-farm workshops and Armed to Farm Boot Camp (for veterans only). We also provide a unique internship program and continuous education through our online modules, social media toolbox and webinars. Our program is ever evolving and growing to keep up with the fast pace of the agriculture industry. We are excited to provide avenues of growth to the farming community and give back to a group of people who have given so much to serve us.Our project has shifted in location and is now primarily hosted by a team of individuals at Appalachian State University.
