Our department at the University of Arkansas offers you the ideal starting point for that career. Our undergraduate degree gives students a broad education in the science and business of animal agriculture, focusing on poultry. Additionally, we offer a pre-professional curriculum emphasis for students wishing to apply to a professional school in medicine, dental, pharmaceutical or the veterinary sciences.

The Department of Poultry Science also offers M.S. and Ph.D. programs and a 3+1 Poultry Science Transfer Degree.

3 + 1 transfer degree program

3 + 1 Transfer Degree 

The 3+1 Poultry Science Transfer Degree Program is a program wherein the first three years of study are completed at A-State or the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and the final year of study is completed at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
